The old bird is currently talking about how dirty illegal aliens are bringing diseases across the border. I’m almost certain most of her speeches is outright bullshit, but I don’t have time to research it at the moment. A few points that jumped out at me:
Nine emergency room hospitals in Los Angeles have shut down due to the free care they’re forced to provide for illegals.
“This idea that any willing employer ought to be able to hire any willing worker is simply unacceptable.”
“The majority of people getting a degree at the University of Texas are illegal aliens.”
We have more than 100,000 unemployed engineers and computer specialists.
That last line may or may not be true, but what the hell does it have to do with illegal immigration? Does Shlafly really think her disease-ridden Mexican immigrants are sneaking over the border to take jobs building bridges or debugging software for Sun?
