Winston Churchill almost didn’t make it into Sandhurst because he kept flunking the geography part of the entrance exam. When he got down to his last chance, he piled up maps of all of Britain’s colonies, picked one at random, and memorized it. When he sat down to take the test, the geography test was all about the colony he had memorized. The rest is history.
