i kno these WOMEN personally. and i love them both with all my heart and they are both truly innocent and they NEVER should have spent ELEVEN years in prison.

I’ve now seen a couple of references (without explanation) on ACA posts that the ruling will make it more difficult for the federal government to prosecute the War on Drugs. Anyone know if that is indeed true and what the basis for that assertion is?

I figure if anyone can explain it, it’ll be someone here.

Will someone finally press charges against this nasty, delusional man? There has to be something, some ethics violation, some contempt charge that they can pin on him. Didn’t the defense in the Brooks case try to press charges back in 2008?

Hopefully this time around he’s been fully and completely discredited.

If they are innocent men, why are they ‘pending’ release from prison. Why the paperwork? Why the administrivia? They should immediately be freed or the civilized among us should tear down the prison walls to get them out. Afterall, SWAT teams operate with the exact same principal in reverse…

I hope you rewrite the opening to the second paragraph:

Stubbs was convicted based on particularly absurd testimony from Michael West. West’s testimony was particularly absurd in this case.
