Why do you say there’s Shar Pei in him?

That was the one thing the rescue from which we adopted him seemed to know. His nose and "swollen" snout are very Shar Pei. He also has a lot of extra skin under all that fur (especially around his hocks).

The specifics of Ollie's parentage are the subject of much speculation. We adopted him as an adult, so we don't really know. Springer is a popular choice, as is Border Collie (you can't tell from this pic, but his body type and tail are very BC-like.)

He does have some hunting dog behaviors...he orients, sort of points. He'll go diving into the tall grass if I let him. That said, based on his responses to much softer noises, I'm sure he'd be gun-shy.

I don't think there are 57 spices to that hound.

Looks like a springer spainiel and a sharpei found some quite time in the alley to me. Straight up.

Can that dog hunt Brian? Or What!?

I bet Ollie's parents masters were watching Dr. Who reruns when it went down. Or it could have been post Dr. Who reruns and dogs and owners all just gave each other that "first date" look...and well formalities are overrated.

I do hope the owners were using some birth control though.

That dog is just wrong Brian! ;) Thanks for sharing.
