I have been, on the one hand thinking that the Kimberlin harassment was way worse than I had initially thought, and on the other that it wasn't totally clear he called in the fake 911 calls. I mean, you're in an extralegal fight with someone crazy, and that happens to you, it's natural to assume it was him. Nonetheless...evidence would be good! And if Kimberlin claims that some people have incited others to post death threats against him on the internet I'm inclined to say that's accurate, without knowing whether it's illegal. But, backtracking to say, having read more about it, it sounds as if there was more extensive and much more awful harassment than I realized.

What exactly is your point, here?

I stated it, actually. Walker is a whiny victimhood-crying ass who pissed off the judge and Kimberlin should never have been allowed out of prison, in all liklihood. I can't say I'm sympathetic to either of them. However, Kimberlin has been getting death threats and we have past experience with abortion doctors to know that some of these people really mean it.

Have any of the right-wing bloggers written anything that isn’t true?

It would be instructive to see just what the evidence is that Kimberlin is actually performing these SWATting ploys beyond "I say so!"

Does this make what’s happening to Walker okay?

I think he brought some of this on himself through sheer stupidity, although the judge seems to be waaaay out of date on applicable precedant regarding email and other internet communication means. The judge was almost certainly wrong, although I have no sympathy for Walker.

Does the reaction of commenters on other parts of the Internet justify putting a restraining order on what Walker can write?

No. That also is not what I was talking about. I do think that somebody may try to kill the guy (think back a couple of years to that guy arrested on the Oakland after a shootout with the police who was going to go kill everybody at the San Fransisco ACLU and the Tides Foundation...a favorite Glen Beck liberal conspiracy meme. The right wing blogs have started the Tides Foundation/George Soros funded meme with Kimberlin as well.)

http://www.ktvu.com/news/news/highway-shooter-targeted-tides-foundation-aclu/nK56r/

I tend to take people seriously these days when they say that somebody needs to be killed.

BTW, a preacher in Kansas has called for the final solution to GLBT people.
