Correction to my errors above. Not only 2
But rather. 2 of many not reported.

Cato report for may 23. Majority are of officers indicted rather than those ALLEDGEDLY accuses or aquitted.

To be completely thorough and accurate in statistical reports. The feeds will have to disclose all.

My comcern ;
 We have been railroaded by media who often paints a different picture of an officer who commits a crime leaving ONLY citizens to be held accountable even at times media justifying the officers behavior when we victims know excessive force/ act of violence was not called for I pray that CATO will not be influenced and will disclose ALL reports daily. It's important to me and other victims that justice be served. In order to receive justice and put an end to police states. There must be a clear reason to show the need for investigations of each Police department that clearly shows history of the abuse of power.

There is heat on Denver's PD. just as should be on many other police departments

I am concerned. Watching Cato's daily post of police misconduct and it appears the majority are police accountability and missing other daily reports

Only 2 of May 23 2012 media reports that are NOT listed BY CATO

ex: Officer in loveland officer accused of wrong doing http://www.9news.com/news/local/article/269098/222/Loveland-officer-accused-of-wrongdoing

NM OFFICER ACCUSED OF ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Two of the three Albuquerque police officers assigned to investigate witness intimidation allegations against former cop Brad Ahrensfield trained under him at APD — Ahrensfield says — and he describes the third officer as a personal friend. Federal prosecutors cited the alleged intimidation of an officer scheduled to testify in a DWI case in seeking an arrest warrant for Ahrensfield, who is free pending appeal on a conviction related to allegations that he leaked details of a narcotics and stolen goods investigation. He resigned prior to his December 2010 conviction on an obstruction of justice charge for tipping off a civilian friend whose business was under investigation by an APD and FBI task force.

http://www.policeone.com/officer-misconduct-internal-affairs/articles/5632433-Investigators-of-NM-officer-accused-of-intimidation-had-trained-under-him/

IE did such a thorough job in making sure that the public were informed of both officers held accountable and officer who had been indicted.

It is becoming extremely difficult to find truth in the media. I can only pray that a think tank will not be the driving force behind the new POLICEMISCONDUCT.net

I think that by adopting Mr Packman's effort's they have recognized its value and it would be quite appropriate to compensate him it for it. Compare this to people rushing in to throw money at Zuckerberg even though he has no ability to undo Facebook. Cato needs to at least grant Dave Packman a sinecure in recognition of his efforts and from which I'm sure he would do more great work.

I thought David's "farewell" post was as piercing as a length of Sinclair molecule chain. He was absolutely right in stating that if we want to stand up against the disinformation of the police unions et al, we need to do more than just click "like" on some irrelevant webpage or voice our "opposition" in a reply thread. Enough of the bread and circuses. There is no better example of a call to arms than one that has suffered the privations like David chose to. God bless him.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what to do now that financially supporting David is out. The easy answer is to "send money to CATO" but seriously, is my $20 going to matter? How about I send that Jackson to some org that can buy Sudecon wipes instead?

Packman will be missed. While Cato was the applicant I supported in his reader's poll (because of funding, primarily) and I think they'll do a good job with it, it will be hard to match his passion and interest in the site.
