I’m a complete sucker for dogs.

My dog is a ferocious biter of ankles which would matter I guess if he had any teeth. He’s an eight pound Maltese mix. He was stolen from a woman who was killing him with neglect and dropped off anonymously at a shelter. I took him in as a foster dog with no expectation that he would actually survive. He looked like roadkill.

He has doubled in wieght and produced a great deal of cottony hair, so much hair that I have to brush him and trim him daily. No matter how much I groom him he still looks like the “before” picture in a puppymill rescue. But he’s a happy active affectionate little guy and I love him to pieces. I used to find little yappy dogs annoying and never expected to have one of my own.
