Such a wonderful city. I’d love to spend a week there…figure a day in each of the five neighborhoods in the historic part of town would give a great overview.
I like how socialist economies can create such beautiful, comfortable living spaces with a high quality of life.
I like how socialism has been around for over a thousand years.
It’s rather sad when you can’t even look at a nice photograph of a city street without thinking about politics.
And Omar’s right. The beautiful buildings in Prague are hundreds of years old. It’s one of the few European cities spared from bombing during World War II.
The rare eyesores are mostly from the Soviet area. Not to mention that Czech is actually one of the freer economies in Europe.
Let me correct that for you:
“I like how EX-socialist economies can create such beautiful, comfortable living spaces with a high quality of life.”
It is a great photograph. And a beautiful city.
Great beer and food as well. One of the only cities I’d like visit again.
That’s an amazing sky. if you don’t mind, would you share what type camera you use?
