That looks a lot like the Sweet Auburn Curb Market in Atlanta.
Hey Radley, did you get a chance to try some Tokaji wine?
Cool, I was there just a couple of weeks ago :) Very odd combination of kitschy tourist stuff upstairs and (literal) meat market downstairs.
Radley, I am really glad you are posting these photos! Your Budapest pics especially dredge up my happy memories of a trip we took there in 2003, including wandering through the Great Market Hall. I’ve also always wanted to go to Dubrovnik, and you’re whetting my appetite!
I have been in a number of market halls around the world, but this one looks far and away the most clean and orderly.
What a beautiful building.
I visited Budapest waaaay back when it was behind the iron curtain. I was a teen and very into scoring some sexy time. Beautiful city, but the girls weren’t buying what I was selling. In that way they were very “Americanized”.
This is a very nice photo.
Great picture – we just had friends who were in Budapest and they loved it – said it was beautiful.
