NOW we know why Hood is suddenly being more interested in investigating Hayne and West. He can throw them under the bus and claim he was misled. The man has no shame.

The sheer magnitude of the problem suggests a similarly big solution. Widespread amnesty.

Radley, excellent article and another that I am sure will familiarize HoPo readers to the important work you do.

One thing that you may want to correct: There is a paragraph that starts

Hood also told the TV station that his office is looking into 20 cases that may have been tainted by West’s testimony. That’s interesting, because it’s the first time a Mississippi state official has made any mention of a voluntary investigation into either Hood or West. […]

I think that second sentence is intended to end with “Hayne or West”.

Of course, Hood should face the music for his deliberate use of such “experts”, too…

I posted your article to his Facebook page. T-minus how many hours until he deletes it?

. . . And REMOVED. I went to the gym in-between, but I’m pretty sure it didn’t last 90 minutes.

And this is past 5 PM too — his staff sure is dedicated.

Am I the only one that glanced at the headline and thought it said, “Kanye West Become Issue in Mississippi AG Race”? Because for a second I was really confused.

Kanye West doesn’t care about falsely imprisoned people.

Posted it on his facebook page. Let’s see how long it lasts. If we do it often enough, maybe some people will notice.
