I was out on my back porch putting down ant bait in what I thought was a period of relative calm when I heard a neighbor yell at another who was in the pool that a dust storm was approaching. He told the kids that it was time to get out of the pool. This is as bad as the weather gets in Arizona: we have to get out of the pool. If it weren’t for the political bull-crap it would be quite the haven. Anyway, it didn’t seem too bad, but the wind was apparently sufficiently strong to tear a branch off of a neighbor’s tree in their front yard. Wasn’t as much damage as I’ve seen in other storms. Meh.
