The entire “Criminal Injustice” issue of Reason is now available online. Here’s the last handful of articles:

Dr. Moskos always offers a very good view of policing.

Well, Radley, here’s a good word of advice:

Why don’t you ask the Koch Brothers to donate their millions of dollars to the cause of prison and drug reform? Since they are fellow libertarians like yourself, I’m sure they’d be delighted to.

It would certainly be a more worthwhile activity for the Brothers to participate in after they tried to bribe state governors into selling them state assets at fire-sale prices. Wisconsin being an example par excellence.

For the first ten years of my career, I worked on the causes of ending the drug war and reforming the criminal justice system. The two organizations I did this for are not only Koch-funded, but a Koch sits on each organization’s board of directors.

If you’re referring to the power plants, that’s a myth. Koch has explicitly said they’ve never had any interest in those plants.

You’re zero for two with these “examples par excellence.” But keep trying!

    Radley,

I know you’re no longer with Reason, but do you have any details on how well the “Criminal Injustice” issue did at newsstands? I know it got a lot of coverage on the web, and I hope that translated to healthy sales.

Of course, from reading left-leaning sites, it probably only sold a couple of issues and Reason will try to recover the loss by playing to their readership with a “How To Hate Poor Minorities” issue, featuring hard-hitting articles like, “Where to Buy Your Top Hat & Monocle Without Paying Sales Tax” and “Should Red Wine Be Served In Whites-Only Establishments?”.

Hey, Peter Bagge! Cool! I used to love Hate comix, but hadn’t seen anything from him in quite a while. Mostly because I haven’t been looking very hard, but still, nice to see some Bagge work.

Mister DNA – And the “right” leaning sites will talk about the next issue on criminal justice, which will feature articles like “Why heroin should be distributed to pre-schoolers” and “Should having a sex offender living right next door to your children be mandatory?”

Of all the weird ad-hominem “Koch Brothers” attacks, gersan’s may have been the funniest I’ve seen.

Rojo, scroll down this page and you’ll find links to everything Peter Bagge has contributed to Reason.

No, I’m not referring to some power plants. I’m referring to the stealth-privatization efforts in Wisconsin by Governor Walker, which didn’t work because the Koch Brothers got caught with their pants down trying to steal Wisconsin assets by “buying” them at fire-sale prices. And they got caught when Walker went too far in screwing public employees.

But, hey, I’m glad the Brothers are for drug legalization, and willing to put their money where there mouths are on it.
