The cops and fire department need your keys. These citizens are heroes for speaking against it.

If you want to give the police or fire department your keys, fair enough. You should not be compelled to do so. And if there is an emergency and you do not have a key and the fire department (for example) has to use the axes on your door, fair enough.

What a way to wake up this morning. I moved from Cleveland 8 years ago, knew this cop, and his brother. I was amazed that they could qualify to become police officers, and am not surprised by this result. It helps that you come from a cop family, so that those pesky little qualifications are just a formality.

His brother’s also a piece of work.

The only “glitch in the system” was the fact that they got caught beating the crap out of some guy and then lied about it to cover it up. A real glitch would be if the DA actually had the professional integrity to charge them with something, but as we all know, if a cop does it, it’s not a crime (to paraphrase Tricky Dick).

Surveillance video of Cleveland police beating a man during booking contradicts police reports. The police department also initially said the video didn’t exist. Now it claims its previous denials were due to a “glitch in the system.”

Clevelan Police Cheif: “No this is no cover-up whatsoever. We’re totally transparent within the division of police.”

LMAO! Yeah. and the Gambino crime family was totally transparent WITHIN the family. What a lyin’ sack o’ shit.

Another wrong door raid in Pittsburgh, part of a big drug sweep. This one says the FBI led the raid and didn’t even have a warrant to search the house, just an arrest warrant for someone who lived there months ago:

I gotta come up with some of these police phrases at work, for when I fuck up.

Do you have an all-powerful union that makes it virtually impossible to be fired? Cops only put on this show as a courtesy to politicians (as long as the politician keeps putting money in the cops pocket). Cops give about as big a fuck as the honey badger*.

*The honey badger don’t give a fuck.

I kinda suspected that when I read this little gem in the opening:

World Cancer Research Fund announced that no one should eat processed meat ever because of its incontrovertible link to colon cancer.

I’m guessing that the “WORLD CANCER RESEARCH FUND” is the in-house organ of some Green/Holistic/Naturalist advocacy group.
