A Tax Day Tune
Monday, April 18th, 2011I forgot to put up a five-star Friday post last week. So here’s some Tax Day blues for you. The song is “Governor”. The band is Robert Bradley’s Blackwater Surprise.

Thanks for posting that, I haven’t listened to any of their stuff in a LONG time.
I have no blues, bro. I got a hefty return.
Yes, great band.
I knew Robert back in those days, and I can attest that he was indeed of a libertarian bent, even if he wouldn’t have necessarily bothered to give himself that label.
I gotta see this guy- he does a killer version of John Hiatt’s ‘It’ll Come to You’… good choice!
Awesome song.
Also, happy birthday Radley!

Then the system is working. Don’t pay attention to how much was taken over the course of the year. Look how much they’re giving you back! Hey look, a circus!
