    Thanks for posting that, it led me to discover The White Stripes, my new favorite band of the day. (Not that I don’t like the Oak Ridge Boys.)

    this is the second version of this tune I’ve heard the Oak Ridge Boys do.

    once again, it makes me wish I could click the “like” button more than once.

    lastly, @Jenn: Jack White (amongst his other accomplishments) convinced Loretta Lynn to let him produce an album for her. so you know he’s digging the hell out of the Boys covering one of his tunes.

    That was just…SHIT HOT!!! Oak Ridge Boys rock. Ah lahk de look of ‘em. We’ve Chapters of The Ulysses Motorcycle Club in Oz, http://www.ulyssesclub.org/ , their motto is “Grow Old, disgracefully”. ORB suits the bill!

    Hmmm. I haven’t heard these guys for years. The bass singer’s voice really seems to be a raspy shadow of its former clear and booming self, and the lead singer’s voice is shrill and tinny.
