Unless I’m mistaken, in this clip we can see the estimable Mr. Greenplaying the Les Paul he later gave to Gary Moore, the astonishingly gifted blues/rock/fusion guitarist who died just a few weeks ago.
Cocaine?
That time and place it was LSD….well, Clapton was on heroin but Green etc were definitely acid takers.
Bikers and Mods were meth and speed, hippies acid, cocaine didn’t really make it in the UK until later, well into the 70s.

Cocaine abuse came with the later version of Fleetwood Mac (Stevie Nicks & Lindsey Buckingham).
“Oh Well Part Two” is a favourite track. Inspired by Ennio Morricone. I read that Peter Green learnt to play the cello for it. (Not sure if that is true).
