Last week I suggested that Frum was an ASshole, today he is even a bigger asshole!

The image being called a crosshair, as in the sights of a telescopic sight is not even such. It’s but a position locator! I’ve got money for anybody that can show me an actual telescopic sight that looks like the symbol used on that map!

Add to that it would not matter what symbol had been used, a period, mouse arrow, hand with finger, the response would have still been the same!

That said, Brady is another aShole!

Clyburn is an elitist assHole!

I had trouble choosing between Frum, Brady and Clyburn. I eventually settled on Brady because of his stated intent to introduce legislation to enforce his ridiculous ideas. That takes the assinine meter up a couple of notches.

As currently published, the redstate piece does not say conservatives will be the real victims. It does, at least semi correctly, complain about the media trying to pin the blame on the right. He was one of my top two until I read the article, although since the criteria was most ridiculous rather than most offensive it wasn’t a clear winner. I ended up choose clyburn.

It could have changed since you put up the poll of course.

Even if they read the Constitution every single day, it wouldn’t rise to anything more than the level of the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America is to any public school kid who has to recite it every morning. It would merely be a rote exercise that they have to do, rubbing blue mud in their navels because the locals do it, and you blend in to keep out of trouble.

All quite dumb, but Brady goes beyond running off his pie hole into proposing damaging action. I’m sure we’re all waiting to see what The {Victim’s Name} Act will espouse and how long it will take to make it to the floor. It’s certain to curtail First or Second Amendment rights.

I voted for Frum cuz it’s just so silly, but Brady has actually got to be the worst because a) he actually is an official with power to pass a law, b) is doing more than pontificating on cause and effect and c) is proposing an actual solution that would be so blatantly unconstitutional and truly – though I am uneasy about this term – unamerican that he has to be the winner.

And that’s all ot say nothing of the thought that cross-hairs on a website contributed much to this incident instead of a) this dude’s own insanity and instability and b) most likely, a host of *comments*, and messages etc. from various leaders/wesbites/psychos.

@matt: I dunno, I’m pretty left and from what I can tell it was a guy that needed medication and therapy and wasn’t getting it. Once someone starts talking about things on the order of intergalactic dragons trying to control our minds through the currency, I don’t think you can really assign them to left or right.

It appears the tragedy was pretty much apolitical. Unfortunately they’re probably going to use it to curtail civil liberties anyway. There are already calls for laws forcing people to take psychiatric medication whether they want to or not.

I’d have rather him been from my side of the political spectrum than to give the MSM/fed another bogeyman with which to curtail freedom.

Another great claim I’ve seen (forgot to bookmark it, dammit) was that he was a “right-wing communist”. Still trying to wrap my brain around that one.

Brady’s plan to further criminalize criminal threatening is pretty stupid, too. Somebody needs to test the water in DC.

I think I’ll have to go with Brady. It is the only choice where there is an intent to limit our rights as a result.

I would have included the sheriff for his comments about “what’s going on in our country” without knowing any of the shooters motivations.
