		<description><![CDATA[What amuses me most about the reaction of most secrecy advocates, especially commenters, is the notion that WL is not releasing info on repressive regimes such as China or Russia. Putting aside the fact that there are a LOT of cables regarding both countries, it makes me wonder if the individuals lauding those regime&#039;s attitude toward WL (one commenter highlighted a Russian official who noted the possibility of WL being made permanently unavailable or some such threat) would be happier if the US adopted the diplomatic tactics of those regimes. 
Or as I&#039;ve seen it put so many times: &quot;love it or leave it&quot;]]></description>
