IMHO, judges need to recognize that illegitimate actions form no part of a government agent’s legitimate duties; while a person who reasonably believes his actions were legitimate should in some cases be able to argue such belief as a defense against prosecution or lawsuit, that defense should be no more available to government agents than to anyone else, and the reasonableness of the belief should be regarded skeptically.

absolute immunity is wrong.

The better standard is for bad faith or recklessness, for liability.

I like term limits too. Being a judge should be like serving jury duty. Do it for a year or two and then let someone else take over.

Removal of absolute immunity. Absolutely.

Term limit them. Serve your term, back into the other part of the cesspool you go.

Keep them from building their little life wrecking, tax grubbing dynasties.

And yes, this should apply all the way to the top.
