    Maybe I’m being nitpicky but I think there is an extra “and” in the next to last paragraph.

    “he deserves credit for both firing and Hayne and now, it appears, for moving Mississippi toward filling the position.”

    Are you able to edit over there after posting?

    Just in case you care. Should I bother pointing out stuff like this or just ignore it?
