Love that voice. Nina has been in my mp3 rotation for years…good stuff.
Amazing song. One of those that gives you chills.
Felix da Housecat did a remix of this song a few years ago for a Verve Remixed album that soups it up and yet still retains the haunting quality of the song.

any song with clapping is a good song
“Sinnerman” has to be considered amongst the greatest long form songs ever.
I thought 16 Horsepower’s version of this song was really good too.
I love that song, have for years.
A woman with a man’s voice saying (not singing) an Xian type hymn. Never listened to Nina Simone before. Now I know why.
