Ok, I admit it, I was wondering when you were going to get around to these guys. Best drummer this side of John Bonham (and a dead ringer for another famous John, to boot). And Matt Berninger puts on a self-deprecating spin that somehow doesn’t manage to pull you down with it. I’m just getting into “High Violet” the new release… so far “England” is a favorite. And last time I was in Nashville, “Bloodbuzz Ohio” was getting a lot of airtime on Radio Lightning. And their live show is awesome.

    I’m a fan, what can I say?

Definitely a band worthy of greater recognition. I’m going to see them in September with Owen Pallett and I can’t wait. If you haven’t already, have a listen to Owen Pallett’s E is for Estranged.

Woohoo! I suggested them in 2008! Their politics suck, but great band.

Saw them earlier this month. Great concert- Spur of the moment decision and spent about 200 bucks I didn’t have, but it was worth it.

Very good band. I love their sound, and like others have said, wish they got more recognition.
HTownTejas, I rarely judge a band by their politics, I’d miss out on some great bands that way. Billy Bragg has long been a guy I love listening to.
