Five-Star Fridays

I saw this trio live Monday. It’s sort of a Nashville singer-songwriter supergroup.

The band is Elle Macho. The song is called “Bombs.”

Thanks for giving props to Elle Macho, Radley! I had the great honor to do sound for them a few months back at Arlene’s Grocery in NYC; they are tremendously awesome. You’d probably dig The Grey Race, friends of Elle Macho, and, I’m proud to say, yours truly. Jon Darling, their lead singer/songwriter is, imo, one of the best there is.

Next time you’re in NYC, stop by Arlene’s, drop my name for free entry, and have a drink on me!

Thanks for the lead. I’m always looking for groovy tunes I haven’t heard before. These guys kick ass.

    Nice.

BTW, I highly recommend checking out Daikaiju (based out of Huntsville, Ala.) when they next play in Nashville on Sept. 2 at Betty’s Bar and Grill. http://www.daikaiju.org/

    Super surfer reverb action!

This is great, Radley. These guys deserve some publicity. Nashville’s pretty badass, yeah? I saw them play a house party last year and wound up on a hammock by myself covered in dew at six in the morning. It didn’t suck.

I’m thinking you should start up that ‘ole Nashville Byline and cover stuff like this.

By the way, David Gray, Ray LaMontagne and Erin McCarley at Bridgestone arena this sunday.. Not a bad show.
