I’m most curious about those little microsparks (nanosparks?) that keep popping up. They must be very very fast, to only show up so briefly in this ultra-slow motion video.

I know this video is fake because Mom said nothing gets struck by lightening twice and I can clearly see multiple lightening strikes to that pole. Ergo video is fake. Nice try though.

Please take your mom to the top of the radio antenna on the Empire State Building during the next thunderstorm in NYC. It has been struck by lightning already, so obviously you will be perfectly safe.
