Marty — that’s not a Gretsch. That’s a Gibson ES-335, with a Bigsby B-7 vibrato tailpiece. It looks to be a 1959-’62, because of the dot fret markers and the bound fretboard. Very cool guitar. Lots of people made history with ‘em.

That’s not even the coolest Playboy After Dark video on the net. It reminds me of a campy Star Trek outtake.

Much cooler is Fleetwood Mac being introduced by Hef and Barbi Benton. And then hearing Peter and the boys rip into a great blues groove while singing about masturbation. And the dancing so fits the music.

I now see where they got the idea for Darth Vaders helmet.
It was from the Bass players hair.

One of those good songs that was forever ruined by being featured on a commercial for a car or financial firm or some such bullshit. Goddamn baby boomers, ruining their own music.

But yeah, cool clip. I love the way the lights “burn” and trail in that film they used to use — it’s like the first inklings of a shroom trip.
