   While I agree with the thrust of his major point (I think), he lost me with that tired CBC dig at the end. At least their online staff are capable of writing short pieces that aren’t unnecessarily esoteric, meandering and convoluted, Colby.

   Macleans has gotten so weird lately.

   I work with an Uzbek who is a real idiot-I would gladly trade him for a couple of Dutch.

   Esoteric, meandering, and convoluted? Flattery will get you everywhere, big boy. Leaving myself out of it, I like Weird Maclean’s a lot more than the old Boring Maclean’s.

   There’s only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people’s cultures and the Dutch.
