There is no more further out anymore. The only way to escape those kind of cops nowdays is to move out of the country.

This crack ho with a badge needs some quality time in a jail cell servicing a bull dyke. Where I come from this is called kidnapping, false imprisonment, and assault. And what makes this completely inexcusable is that the differences in the name, birth date, and sex between the warrant and the student were pointed out to the cop. She just didn’t give a shit.

See Carrollton PD, you should have spent the time to learn how to use the erase feature on that camera. I know it’s tough reading the manual, but a little slip up like this could get you banned from next Texas Thin Blue Line Cotillion. No self respecting cops are going to hang out with guys who can’t even pull off something as simple as erasing evidence!

It has Lenny, though not the supreme lineup of Lenny and Mike Logan.

I want the CSI trial to make it into the script of one of the CSI tv programs I refuse to watch. I want one of those smug bastards to get busted for playing CSI/cop/PI/judge/jury/executioner and training all of America that that is to be expected and ok.

I hope that the Carrollton cops also get obstruction and false statement charges, as well as malicious prosecution. Perhaps it is time for private actions on criminal charges, like they used to have in England back in the day.

Wow, I live in Carrollton. So now I have a personal interest in TWO stories that have made it on Radley’s blog. This one and the one about officer Powell messing with the football player (the officers father was my boss at the time and he lived in Carrollton)

I guess it is time to move because my taxes are about to go up even more.

Yeah, I know that logically $.04 can become $300, but that doesn’t make it any less absurd, especially when the guy has a letter saying he owed nothing. And even a $300 bill doesn’t justify a personal visit from IRS agents. Can’t they call first and ask for paperwork.

Also, unpaid taxes collect interest and penalties at a much lower rate than unfiled taxes. It’s probably a good thing this guy at least filed and paid all but $.04.

And the owner does have a point when A) he has a letter saying he owed nothing more and B) how in the hell does $.04 become $300?

The same way it would for a bank, fees and penalties. Except that, unlike a bank, there’s no chance of making a reasonable case why you shouldn’t have to pay to a supervisor.
