All the shrieking lefties I know are leftily shrieking about taking the caps off of corporate spending on politics. But the article states:

“It was the eve of the Citizens United decision, which would effectively scrap most restrictions on independent campaign spending by individuals, groups, and corporations.”

(Italics, if they work, are mine)

I don’t know enough about this decision. Does someone have a link with a good overview that a slow Joe like me could understand?

On another subject, the concept of “school police officers” just makes my stomach hurt.

Wow, there is so much wrong/misleading with Cuban’s “spanking” it’s not even funny. For example, he says:

Established shows that are currently on air are either not online or are delayed.

The reason why library shows are the vast majority of shows online is because library shows are the vast majority of shows, period. Almost every new ABC, NBC and Fox show is online. Not to mention most new cable shows. The reason Franken is picking on Comcast is that Comcast has asked online providers to take down shows. For example, Hulu used to have all episodes, past seasons and current, of It’s Alwasy Sunny in Philadephia. Comcast threw a shit fit to Fox because they were afraid people would cancel their cable service, so now Hulu only has the last 5 episodes.

Franken is a pompus idiot, but it doesn’t make Cuban right. FFS, every TV station is already duplicating their delivery network. Why would a movie company duplicate efforts with DVDs, cable TV and online delivery?

And what’s with the non-sequitur on the format of the video or download type? We get, it you founded Broadcast.com, you’re smart.
