Man, that snow makes me jealous. We’re supposed to get about a foot out by me over the next couple of days, though: maybe can finally get the X-ctry skis and snowshoes out.

Anytime you can keep a dog busy by throwing a ball once, that’s a good thing. If he’s anything like my puppy, then he has stamina reserves that permit him to seek out high-energy entertaining activities about twenty hours out of each day.

And snow is oh so much better than mud (which is what we currently have in Alabama).

Maybe it’s because we have snow 6 months out of the year, but my pup refuses to play in it. I’m going to show him these videos and maybe he’ll get some ideas. All he’s interested in is checking his messages down by the mailboxes.

Oh man, that brings back memories. On days like you're having, we'd throw snowballs for our retriever. That was good for endless fun for us, and he sure seemed to have fun leaping around looking for them.

Hope you guys stocked up on the hot chocolate and mini-marshmallows. Snow days are the best.

Also, there was a background beep in the second video that reminded me to grab my dinner out of the oven. If it weren’t for you and Daisy, I’d be eating char right now. (The carbonized kind, not the Arctic kind.)
