Did you get a chance to check out or get pictures of 1999 Broadway? That’s the curved building built around an historic church. One of my favorite bits downtown.

home sweet home:) i love the buildings you’re talking about, it’s like a surrealistic image of new and old.
This photograph is amazingly phallic. I like it.
We Denverites often refer to it as the “cash register” building.
It used to be known as the United Bank Plaza. It is also the scene of the “Father’s Day massacre”, an infamous 1991 robbery in which four bank guards were killed. The guards were unarmed, the result of a misguided policy which was intended to *reduce* the likelihood of violence. A retired Denver cop was charged with the robbery and murders but was later acquitted.
Now it’s called the Wells Fargo Center.
