How To Support Your Favorite Blog While Christmas Shopping
Monday, November 23rd, 2009Just a reminder that if you do any shopping at Amazon over the next few weeks, you can support this site at no cost to you. Just click on the “Radley Recommends” box to your left, then proceed into the Amazon store to do your shopping. I’ll get a small return on what you buy. If you actually buy something I specifically recommend, I get a bigger return.
I’ll be updating my recommendations over the next week or so, too with some recent books, CDs, and various other stuff I like.

Is this true for all our Amazon shopping year round?
Yes!
My ad-blocker has killed your recommendations link — apologies. Have you got an old-fashioned URL for those of us too lazy to turn off our ad-blockers (yet still have the time to post about it)?
Radley, do you have methods of donating / subscribing other than Paypal? I refuse to give paypal access to any of my banking information.
I purchased a Kindle for my wife’s birthday through your ‘reccomends’, she loves it and it travels with her anywhere she goes now.
Thanks for the reccomendation!
Is that your correct email address, Mason?
I’ll send you an email with details.
Somewhat OT, but how were the fans in your section at the Ravens game? I saw from Twitter, you weren’t that far from me (Row 17, Sec. 501). It’s never gonna be a good thing, between Baltimore and Indy, particularly after that playoff game in ’07 where Payton ripped our guts out and stomped on them, but Colts fans seemed almost as decent and well-behaved as Packer enthusiasts.
/My row has a bunch of loudmouths and drunks, but with the economy a lot of people have been giving up their seats each week for $… probably suck for them if the Ravens are out of it when the Lions and Oakland come to town. We were next to a father and his 12-year-old kid, and a grandfather and his 4-year-old grandson, all wearing blue and white, so I kinda told people to cool it… which they did ’til Flacco threw that pass.
Radley, do you have more recommendations other than those accessible via the sidebar? I’m curious what you’re into in terms of fiction. And I buy shit from Amazon like once a week (which, incidentally, they should probably ban, for my own well-being).
Hoping to find some time to add more this week.
Yep, that’s a valid email address.
