Ahhhh. Loved that show as a teenager. Adam Sandler as Stickpin the Trivia Delinquent and Studboy were the highlights of the show. Spent the entire summer of 87 skateboarding and watching MTV. Living in the stix, MTV was a gateway to a lot of good music back then through 120 minutes and headbangers ball.
MTV was a rare treat when I was a teenager. I remember watching this show. We lived in the stix with no cable available. Satellite TV in those days required something the size of the Arecibo dish in Puerto Rico. The only time I got to watch MTV was when I went to friends houses in town.
Never heard of it, but I was overseas from ‘86-’89 (AFRTS didn’t carry MTV).
But I did have a shirt that looked like that studio set exploded all over it. ;-)

Wow. Another icon from my teen years gone. I feel old.
So I take it Ober is now officially not Canadian?
(Too soon?)
Damn, enjoyed his shows.
