“…and my wife’s boyfriend broke my jaw with a fence post.”

Great commercial. It’s part of a pretty ingenious viral campaign by a company called MicroBilt, which sells information technology to small businesses. They’re doing free commercials like this one for small companies around the country. And getting lots of free attention for it.

    I smell a reality series.

Is the Agitator local enough to nominate? I’d love to see one of these ads for RB’s site. What could be more local than one’s home computer?

An Agitator ad would have to include, “…and then my head exploded. Again. Third daggum time today.”

That place is about 40 miles south of where I live. I’ve spent enough time in Cullman that the commercial totally makes sense to me.

Did you look at the rest of them? “Red House” made me spit my oatmeal out.

If the site is real, it’s brilliant; If it’s all a put-on, it’s brilliant on a level I can barely comprehend.

I have friends who do this stuff for a living for a large cable company (hint: the LARGEST), I passed this video along to them last week asking why they didn’t do fun commercials like those. My buddy responded back with “because I’d get fired”.

We’re heading down to Cullman tomorrow afternoon to pick up a puppy that we picked out a few weeks ago. I think the guy in the commercial perfectly exemplifies the demeanor of the people we’ve met down there. Sincere. Direct without being the least bit abrasive. Hard not to like.

You have to watch the commercial about the ex-cuban gynocologist used car salesman!

    Franklin,

    You’re from Decatur?

I find it encouraging that there are so many people from Alabama on this site…

I’m from Huntsville, but reside in Birmingham now. I thought I was the only person from Alabama that reads this blog. Great commercial too!

Another Alabamian here, but moved to Germany from Huntsville about a year ago.

And man, did that commercial remind me of home!

If my wife’s boyfriend breaks my jaw with a fencepost, well, she’s going to have to stop dating him at that point.

From Pulaski, TN, now in Birmingham. Never thought there were so many others on here. Have some good friends from Cullman; this commercial is dead on.

Probably the smartest people in Alabama posting on this site. Not that it takes much.

I nominated Delta Muffler and Brake in Huntsville, which is run by the most honest business man on the planet (and probably the entire universe). People like Mother Teresa and Gandhi only wished they could have been as pure as this guy. He could “cast the first stone”, except casting stones would be beneath him.

I know what you’re thinking. You’re wondering just what hell I’ve been smoking, but it’s true. This is an honest auto repair business. Seriously.

Work in Huntsville, live in Harvest. I find it particularly interesting that the bulk of Bama Agitators are from the 256. Is it something in the water here? ;)

    This is so frickin’ ingenious.
