    Can’t see the image…net nanny. :(

    However, I’d counter that we don’t have true capitalism in this country, but a system that is more aptly described as corporatism, hence Moore’s criticism is invalid since he isn’t attacking capitalism, but something else.

    the only point Michael Moore has is on top of his head.

    I blame the Mayans. It’s just one more sign of the end times.

    Everytime I see the snuggie commercial, I smile at my girlfriend and say, “this is why the terrorists hate us.” An example of my dark humor, I suppose. But really, that commercial is super annoying. What’s with the dorky guy he keeps doing the stupid dance moves? And now they’re messing with dogs. That’s just wrong!

    Yet another example of why I oppose universal sufferage.

    Well, on topic with the thread/humor: note that someone, somewhere, somehow, is apparently making money designing, manufacturing, and selling the most godawful mechanized crap, like the mechanical skeleton at a local store that goes “ha ha ha ha” and plays a song or something whenever a customer walks by. I overheard a cashier explaining that it used to work with a button, but it broke/got stuck on sensor mode, something like that. Reminded me of the Denis Leary “Darth Vader Talking Bank” rant, almost to a tee.

    It takes two to tango.

    Yes, if we insist on this having a point instead of just being a humor thread, #8 Guido is right. This is more a sad commentary on the intellectual/philosophical vacuum that exists, that such products as this dog Shamwow or whatever and various mechanized pieces of crap etc are actually bought by someone. Definitely sad commentary on how many such someones there must be – there are actually “As Seen on TV” stores in malls, for crying out loud.

    If a guy wears a snuggie to a football game, he’s probably leaving with a beating.

    Tim is right this is a fantastic commentary on society, one I think is hilarious in an incredibly sad kinda way.

    It’s hard for me to believe that anyone stupid enough to buy one of those snuggie things has the money to do it.

    The kind of people who would put one of those on a dog deserve to share a cell with Michael Vick.

    @Mike Healy

    Please knock on wood, because there are many stupid people in this world with money, and saying things like that motivates them.
