That is pretty much why I stopped fishing. The good spots you can drive to are like this and you need a plane or a boat to get to an empty good spot. Great picture, looks like you enjoyed your trip here.
It’s not combat fishing until someone is using a step-ladder…..
I’ve driven from Al. to Mi. to fish for salmon just like that on some of their rivers. I also found some good spots to fish alone after making friends with a couple locals.
I grew up in Western NY and fished the fall salmon runs at Lake Ontario for years. I saw a lot of that type of zoo. Back when snagging was legal in NY everybody in that mob was swinging a treble hook with a couple ounces of lead on it.
