I ran into a person like that who works @ my local Fresh & Easy. I was buying wine @ Fresh & Easy & when I scanned the bottle, the autoresponse was “Approval needed.” She came over, looked me up and down and said, “You look pretty cool to me.” We both had a good laugh over that.

Thank whoever for store employees with a good work ethic AND a sense of humor!

By directing federal law enforcement officers to ignore federal drug laws, the Administration is tacitly condoning the use of marijuana in the U.S. If we want to win the war on drugs, federal prosecutors have a responsibility to investigate and prosecute all medical marijuana dispensaries and not just those that are merely fronts for illegal marijuana distribution.

$11? Ppft. I got a $100 parking ticket (in DC) the other day because I didn’t see the sign at the end of the block saying that there was no parking during rush hour. Never mind that the street was full of other parked cars. Or that I was allowed to put in $2 in quarters for about 1/2 hour on the meter. Or that I was only parked there for about 20 minutes. Nope. $100.

Since it’s my second $100 parking ticket this year, I’ve just decided to stop parking in DC altogether. I’m hoping to move out of this fucking hellhole next year.

Goddam, I hate DC.

You know, bags of chips at 7-11 are more expensive than at Sam’s Club too. No one’s forcing anyone to shop at 7-11.
