Nice. I like the juxtaposition of the old and the new. Not quite sure which is more homely, but the picture works for me.
Speaking of Chicago, when will they be proposing “board control” to prevent teens from being killed? (Sorry if it’s off topic!)

No reason the new architecture should have any hint of elegance or even functional starkness, that’s just plain ugly. The old brick structure is far more welcoming.
