More Hayne in the News

Friday, August 21st, 2009

Jackson station WLBT picks up my report about the Mississippi coroners’ effort to bring back Hayne.

Looks like the plan is moving ahead. Unbelievable.

Or, sadly, entirely believable.

I can see why less than ethical law enforcement teams would want Hayne back on the payroll, but his name sortof seems to be poison nowadays.

If I were a defense attorney this almost seems like good news. If he does make it back I’d expect Stephen Simpson (the official that took him off the approved list) to be getting a lot of supoenas to appear as a witness.

“If everything goes as planned, Dr. Hayne will be doing autopsies at American Mortuary Services on Terry Road in Jackson and not in the state crime lab. Owner John Davis said, “We’re gone be jumping and jivin’ here in a little bit.”

Jumping and jivn’, Mr. Davis. Really? You just couldn’t be happier to embrace this fraud.

Does Mr. Davis have a conscience. Do these good old boys care at all about quality, objective medicolegal death investigation? This is disgusting! This is a disgrace!

Is there by chance a movement afoot for Missippi to secede? If there is, please let me be the first to say good riddance.

I would have thought it would be easier to find a new Prosecutor’s Medical Examiner than to attempt to rehabilitate Stephen Hayne’s name. At least that is what I would do if I were a corrupt Mississippi DA.

But where are they going to find someone of Hayne’s low calibre?

Hmm, anyone from Prince George’s County, MD looking to re-locate to a prosection-oriented region?

I beleive the question of the right of a state to secede has been settled by the law of might.

However, the question of the right of the Union to eject a state has not been decided.

I guess there is a silver lining in this cloud. I certainly thought scumbags of Haynes quality would be much easier to find. So bad news Hayne is probably back in buisness, good news is apparently I’ve been overestimating the number of scumbags in the USA.

If needed, there is always the Ultimate Solution:

    Shoot.

    Shovel.

    Shut up.

    Frank:

They might find bite mark evidence on the shovel.

“They might find bite mark evidence on the shovel.”

For some reason, that one made me laugh. Thanks. :)

I did stock up on duct tape though :)

LOL “jumpin’ and jivin'”. Seems that’s been the problem all a long…TOO MUCH JIVIN’!

    Jiving:

    1. to play jive.
    2. to dance to jive; jitterbug.
    3. Slang. to engage in kidding, teasing, or exaggeration.
    4. Slang. to tease; fool; kid: Stop jiving me!
    5. Slang. insincere, pretentious, or deceptive.
    6. To cajole or mislead. Misleading; phony.

    Need I say more?

From the article…”once that district is created, two or more adjacent counties can retain the services of any qualified pathologist to perform autopsies in those respective districts.”

*Qualified Pathologist* being the key words…

Who determines *Qualified*? Obviously it’s not subject to a vote of the people and if the DA’s in Mississippi are left to their own devices we can expect more CREATED evidence that sends innocent people to prison. It seems to be what Mississippi does best.

Clearly the people of that county in Mississippi should take up arms, free the men in prison, and run Hayne out on a rail. They should overthrow any politician that stands in their way. Fuck this democracy. It isn’t a democracy even on a state level. The Mississippians should rebel. Fuck the overlords!
