“Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright.”

Back in the day, Dylan could do understated kiss-off like no one else.

Not really a kiss-off song but, the first time that I heard this song, I swore that it was a Dylan cover. Maybe you’ve heard it….

Is Dylan the musician of the libertarian movement? Or just libertarians, absence any movement?

I love your site but all your dylan picks have been misses for me. I love dylan prefer songs like new pony, when I paint my masterpiece, slow train, gotta serve somebody, etc..

A masterful kiss-off! It blanches in comparison to the chilly cutdown that is “Positively 4th Street”, but it’s a lot less convinced, you know? And therefore much more affecting, if you ask me. Which you did, didn’t you?

Quite possibly my favorite Dylan song. If you want to hear a blazing cover of it, check out Social Distortion frontman Mike Ness’s version on his excellent solo release “Cheating at Solitaire.”

Good call Radley, this one is definitely one of my favorite Dylan tunes.
