Senators don’t read the bills that the lobbyists write for them why in the hell would they read the decisions of a person nominated for the Supreme Court?

Being in the Senate is a good job if you can get it. Look at their salary, look at their health care package. Good job, lots of perks, and all you have to do is run for re-election, and raise money for that campaign and your national party. I should have paid more attention in public speaking classes I’ve had.

I’m honestly interested in knowing what issues you agree with Reid on. Because as far as I can tell, the weasel doesn’t actually believe in anything, aside from increasing his own political power.

(See the Rosen hit piece on Sotomayor and related nonsense to pick just one example.) * - If the female political figure, aware of that problem, keeps a tight rein on her emotions and emoting then she's represented as an unreal ice-queen. Frankly, the utterly, utterly, utterly phony, vacuous smiles of hypocrites like this or this are far, far creepier and unreal.

That article was actually pretty entertaining to read, and it poked fun at some of the Senators’ stupid remarks. Though it just points out the obvious: Reid and most other Senators are just camera-whoring morons.

I’m as brainwashed as any other liberal I suppose, but I still can’t stand Reid or Pelosi. They both rub me the wrong way, even when I agree with them on the issues. This quote is just another example of that.
