   stopped in port there last week for the first time, and enjoyed that view and the city very much. maybe i will try to get stationed there

   Ah, yes, taken during the Annual Seattle Rain Festival*, I see.

   We’re currently enjoying temps in the mid-80s (significantly higher than averages) and I can’t remember the last time it rained. It’s barely June and they’re already talking draught. I got a sunburn at the Mariner’s game the Sunday before last.

   I look at a picture like this and it triggers elements of Stockholm Syndrome. I *shouldn’t* long for the clouds that bind me for the better part of the year, yet… I do?
