Sunday Evening Dog Blogging

It was 90 in D.C. today, so we took the dogs to the wet dog park. This is the end result of a long day of swimming, playing, and sunshine.

    Awwww, they’re adorable. That’s an insanely cute picture, thanks for sharing.

    D.C. is always a hell-hole in the summer. If it makes you feel any better, it was 91 in Manchester yesterday and it felt pretty close to that today as well (although, I think it was actually in the 80s and just humid).

    I hate summer. I just can’t handle the heat.

    Those two don’t look like the type to tire out easily either, bet you guys had fun!

    That’s how I looked after taking my kids out to the park yesterday… though. I’m quite certain that I’m not nearly as cute as they look when I sleep.

    Funny how adult human beings, alone among creatures, don’t look good asleep. Why is that? Fallen from Paradise?

    @3, I dunno… I think my wife and kids are cute when they sleep.

    It’s just that I know I don’t look cute by any stretch of the imagination, awake or asleep… too many scars.

    However, I’ll admit, it’s hard to imagine a puppy that doesn’t look cute when it’s asleep.
