He was probably dreaming of chasing rabbits or something. My dog does this all the time, although not quite as fast (she sleep walks, not sleep runs). She also barks in her sleep while moving her feet and wagging her tail.
It’s too bad the dog had to run into the wall at the end but I’m glad he didn’t get hurt. He did look embarrassed, tho. LOL
Poor guy! It would be funnier if he didn’t hit his head. My lab never runs in his sleep, just twitches and makes small barking noises.
What’s creepy is that our chihuahua mix goes completely limp during REM, and picking her up it immediately feels like she’s dead. The first few times I woke her up just to see if she was OK.
OMG, that is flippin’ hilarious. I needed that this morning. First time I’ve smiled today!
Ya know this only gives more credence to the ‘sleep walking’ defense.
Wonder what this poor creature was dreaming about?

He was chasing a car…….and he caught it. OUCH!!!
Aww, poor pooch! Imagine waking up after running into a wall. That has to really throw him for a loop.

It’s the cops run for your life!!
Yeah, I’ve done that to, so don’t feel bad dog.
[...] Don’t wake up the sleepwalking dog. [...]
they need to cut back on the gravy in his alpo…
Heh. I have never seen a dog do a full gallop in its sleep before. That was funny though.
“It’s the cops run for your life!!”
Yeah, no kidding!
What makes it funnier is that the dog has a hardon.
:)
That’s the dog’s tail, numbnuts!
And I’m not going to sit here and explain to you what an actual doggie hardon looks like.

My wife thought the same thing! I had to show her she was wrong.
I guess we know where their minds are!?
Radley,
The pooch made CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360. Did you see it?
