   Scott Adams is genius.

   They had the automaker CEOs on the grill a couple weeks ago and some Senator was saying, basically, “You have run your companies into financial insolvency. Now, how many of your companies have private jets that are used to ferry executives around.” My thought was, “Hey Senator, you guys have been running deficits of hundreds of billions of dollars for decades [and that is accurate, before anyone misspeaks about the year 2000 budget] and you have special access to government aircraft to ferry you to and from your home states. And, you run an organization with accounting tricks that would get any of us thrown in jail. How about you shut the fuck up until you can pass a balanced budget? And, just to make things even, since we’ll go out of business if we raise prices above our competitors, balance the budget without raising taxes. When you have done your jobs, then you can come back and waste the taxpayers’ time bitching about my travel arrangements.”

   And the sad thing is that I really don’t have any sympathy for those CEOs. If they hadn’t been there with their hands out, they might have had some moral authority in that situation.

   Scott Adams is an idiot. That is evident by his ramblings on his blog.

   However – he is proof you can be delusional and kick out a good strip every once in a while.

   tim, maybe you’re right; I don’t read his blog. I should have said Dilbert is genius, at least quite often. I can go back and read strips from the nineties and still think they are hilarious.
