4 oz. Apple Cider
1 oz. Yukon Jack
Stir with a cinnamon stick
Microwave until warm.

Sounds good. I made a similar drink once with hot rooibos (red) tea, and a little bit of honey (and no lemon). It also tastes like autumn, but in a very different way (drier, and more “earthy” than fruity).

Hey, that sounds good. Might have to steal it from you. And Bulleit’s a great choice for standing up to the cider.

Jennie — In Colonial days this would have been made with hard cider, but people were made of sterner stuff back then (or maybe it was just a lot easier to go through life drunk before cars and text messaging). I’d stick with the soft cider.

Regular cider or alcoholic cider?

I’ll have to try this. I’m a big fan of the Applejack Rabbit

1.5 oz Applejack
.5 oz Orange Juice
.5 oz Lemon Juice
.5 oz Maple Syrup

Shake well over ice (the only way to get maple syrup to blend)

It goes really well with baked brie or a good, sharp cheddar.
