I'm thinking the change at the blog probably had something to do with them losing their charter as a RLC state chapter. They were listed as chartered and linked to by the national RLC earlier this week. I know I wrote an email to someone at the national party about the debacle with you and Puma. I don't have any idea how many others did. But the RLC IL has actually removed all the previous posts from Puma and others. I suspect someone with the national caucus took some time to read the neo-con rantings, and must have puked over their brand being used that way.

Your area of the RLC might be very libertarian. The Illinois RLC apparently isn’t. Neither have been the RLC groups I’ve seen publish stuff on the net…they’re virtually indistinguishable from the neoconservative wing of the Republican party and some of them openly look down on libertarian ideals (and freely admit that they do so).

There’s no room for libertarians in Team Red. There’s plenty of room for homophobes, bluenoses, and theocrats who call themselves libertarian with a semi-straight face.

I’m still laughing. “Hacking is a crime.” This is gold, I love it. I only wish they had used more faux law jargon. “Cease and desist” was the best they could come up with? C’mon, they couldn’t have dropped “permanent injunction”, or “prior restraint”? It’s probably better they didn’t, my side hurts enough as it is.

As far as Bi-weekly goes, I’ve noticed this and had an argument or two about it. The resolution basically there are two different definitions deepening on industries. Publishing uses bi-monthly to mean every other month. But bi-monthly to banks and accountants means twice a month. IE I’m paid bi-monthly (twice a month), but the IEEE is published twice a month.
