I often find material here for my site. I also find a lot of material elsewhere that ends up here as well (usually before I post it, much to my frustration). If I wasn’t attributing with hat tips, I’d have a hard time telling which is which. I’ve speculated in the past that Radley and I have a lot of the same feeds in our respective RSS readers. That happens, due to common interests, and common themes on both of our websites.

But word for word copying is just laughable.

I agree with Fritz. Radley should be happy. Like I always say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Except when it’s plagiarism.

It’s the Internet. This cr@p happens all the time. No reason to get your knickers in a twist. It’s just the headline, and the site was a public posting site anyway. Fools abound out here.

(I almost said “knockers in a twist”… That really would be the Internet, now wouldn’t it?)

While I agree that one should always cite their source material, I disagree with the headline.

Imitation ain’t it. Money is the sincerest form of flattery. When I get a gig, I want them to just flatter the hell out of me.

Radley, I’ve noticed that you’ve licensed your work under a Creative Commons license (link at bottom of page.) So individuals that copy your work verbatim, without attribution are also in violation of that license.
