I think a lot of dog lovers have this print in their bedroom. I know we do.
I had an art teacher in seventh grade that took us to the Brandywine River Museum in Chadd’s Ford, PA. They have three generations of Wyeth paintings. I have been back since. It is a wonderful day trip from DC and more museums and cultural attractions than you can shake a stick at.
Note to Jefferson: Tell your friend Patrick he can pick up a copy of this print at just about any Michael’s Craft or mall “art” store. They are very popular. Add decent framing for about $75-$100 and he can get another print for himself. No need blaming the ex-wife.
i don’t remember you being quite so *sweet* back in the day, radley.
My buddy Patrick used to have this one in his bedroom. I always liked it. His wife Mary Anne got it in the divorce.
I’m not much of a dog lover but that picture is quite something. A buddy of mine has a jack russell terrier that looks a little like that dog.
91 years old and he sure left a legacy.

Thanks, Adolphus. I’ll tell Pat.
Dammit. I need to start taking more pictures of my dogs.
Let sleeping dogs lie.
