This Is Your Country on Drugs
Tuesday, January 13th, 2009One-time Agitator guest blogger Ryan Grim’s book comes out in late June. It’s called This Is Your Country on Drugs: The Secret History of Getting High in America. You can pre-order it now at Amazon.com.
Also, Ryan tells me that you, Agitator readers, are thanked in the acknowledgments for your suggestions when Ryan posted excerpts of the book on this site last August.
So nice work!

Are the reader comments fori it as funny as for “The 2007-2012 Outlook for Public Building Stacking Chairs Excluding Bar, Bowling Center, Cafeteria, Library, Restaurant, and School Stacking Chairs in India”?
By the way, “The 2007-2012 Outlook for Public Building Stacking Chairs Excluding Bar, Bowling Center, Cafeteria, Library, Restaurant, and School Stacking Chairs in India” is written by Philip M. Parker, who holds a patent on automatic content generation. Although I’m sure he wrote that book all on his own. Given the scintillating subject matter, who could resist?

Cynical and Johnny Appleseed of Crack:
Dude, are you guys high right now. You guys are blowing my mind with that Public Building Stacking Chairs stuff. I’m gonna go get a bite and rock some Marley. Later. 420!!!!!!
Does that include my suggestion that Ryan burn all copies of his filthy book, erase the manuscript from his computer, get a job and turn himself in to the Thought Police?
ACtually, yes Helmut, I was high. I visited the dentist yesterday and earned a prescription for Tylenol #3. Mmm mmm good.
