What would I give to be able to post the pic of me as a teenager urinating on a beached whale in the comment section. Not sure but a lot I suppose.

The link to the review for "The Secret" was classic, as were the other reviews that same user wrote for other equally useless Amazon products. I'm curious if the guy works for The Onion, considering the high quality of his satirical writing, the rather eclectic choice of products he chose to satirize, and his reference to Jim Anchower when stating his happiness with the 2 gallon galvanized bucket he purchased.

"When you get to the link for “Cop shoots dog during drug raid”, make sure u scroll down and check out the link for “Officer Allegedly Engaged In Cow Sex Act”. See, not all cops r violent towards animals."

You mean the cow consented? If not, that's rape.

I’d think at the very least the man will be charged because his dog injured the cop.

That'll teach people to have dogs that aren't big enough to take the bullet and stop it! Seriously, what was that criminal scumbag thinking by having a dog whose body mass couldn't stop a simple handgun round?

I'm glad that the dog will be okay. However, these drug raids are out of control. Let's pray that Ryan Frederick is found not guilty this month. Perhaps that will send a strong message to law enforcement that these Gestapo tactics are not going to be tolerated anymore.

Yeah, they don't turn cute until about an hour after birth. Until then, they look like lizards.

As Bill Cosby notes, they change color five times!

That said, I must add that *my* babies were beautiful from the moment I pushed them from my body. And no, it wasn't hormones. It was the beauty of Finally! I have my body back! Beautiful!

Secret:
"At age 36, I found myself in a medium security prison serving 3-5 years for destruction of government property and public intoxication. This was stiff punishment for drunkenly defecating in a mailbox but as the judge pointed out, this was my third conviction for the exact same crime. "
I am still trying to figure out the mechanics of shitting in a mailbox. But I can understand drunken peer pressure: "You remember that time you shit in that mailbox? I bet you cant do it again."

on the doggicide:

"...agents were attempting to apprehend a suspect for drug charges..."

"....the drug suspect was taken into custody. Investigators said he has not been charged with any wrongdoing yet, but he does have a lengthy rap sheet."

not charged YET = we'll think of something
lengthy rap sheet = guilty, he had to be doing something wrong

If the original reason for apprehension was drug charges why wasn't he charged on the spot?

//Could this apply to wrong door raids? At least theoretically they should be able to bring charges of breaking and entering since the police didn’t have a warrant. In some of the more egregious cases a serious argument could be made for negligence.//

If a cop breaks into someone's home without a reasonable belief that such action is justified by a warrant or exigent circumstances, the cop commits burglary and/or robbery, depending upon what he does once inside. A cop who participates in a raid at an address that differs from the warrant is unlikely to have a reasonable belief that his action is justified (I can't imagine any reason a jury would regard such a belief as reasonable, but theoretically it could).

Of course, given the total lack of interest in prosecuting badge-wearing criminals, the fact that police actions constitute crimes probably doesn't matter much.

The border between Mexico and the US is fluid. There is no set line. I've spent a great deal of time in Mexicali and Calexico. Do you know that the Border Patrol office is actually about 100 feet inside the United States? That means there's about 100 feet of US Territory that's inside Mexico.

Same goes for the Texas border. The Rio Grande shifts. There are tiny islets of the United States on the Mexican side and vice versa.

So, to say that the Feds are planning to invade Mexican territory is a little bit of a stretch. Mexican police lose their way and end up on the US side all the time.
